Saturday March 24th at 10 AM St John's will offer a Morning of Reflection for Catechists presented by Ann M. Heekin, PHD
On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965), we will reflect on the grace of this moment – the remarkable witness of the Council to the role of the laity in the mission of the Church. Each lay ministry involves different gifts however; all are forms of participating in the educating work of God. Called and Sent will be a morning of reflection to celebrate this transformation in the church and discern how the Spirit calls and sends each of us as ministers of educating in the faith.
