The Immaculate Conception was the preparation by God of a human tabernacle for His Son here on earth.  On this Holy Feast in 1531 (Dec. 9^th in that year) Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas and the unborn, appeared for the first time to Saint Juan Diego, bringing about the end of Aztec slaughters and the conversion of millions.
